Overview

Hold & Spell is a fully offline word game: keep your finger on the screen and collect falling letters to spell real words. It does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and has no in-app purchases.

Data stored on your device

The game stores only your best score for each game mode (Classic and Chaos) in a small file in the app's own storage on your device. This data never leaves your device, and uninstalling the app deletes it.

Data not collected

Hold & Spell does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera audio/video, payment details, or advertising identifiers. The game never requests these permissions; entries for them in the build configuration exist only because bundled libraries declare the capability and state that the app uses such capabilities only when you choose, which it never does in gameplay.

No tracking and no third-party data sharing

Hold & Spell does not track you and does not share data with any third party. The source contains optional product-analytics and crash-reporting libraries (PostHog, Sentry), but they are not configured with keys for this app, so they are inactive and send nothing. There is no advertising, no ad network, and no cross-app tracking.

Internet access

The game does not connect to any server. Gameplay, word checking, and score keeping all happen on your device.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes are shown by updating the effective date above.
