Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes the data RoastSong AI uses to turn photos into comedy roast songs and music videos. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across apps or websites. RoastSong AI does not collect an advertising identifier (IDFA).

Information we collect

Account

• Email address used to sign in (one-time code; no password)
• Display name you provide

Content you submit

• Photos you pick from your library or take with the camera, used only to generate the roast you request
• Optional hint text and optional audio you attach
• Generated roast text, lyrics, audio, and video associated with your account so History can replay them

Purchases and usage

• Coin purchases and balance (processed by Apple and RevenueCat; we do not store card numbers)
• Crash and diagnostic logs and device type needed to run the app

How we use it

• To authenticate you and keep your session
• To generate roast songs and music videos from the photos you upload
• To show History and your coin balance across devices once you are signed in
• To fulfill in-app purchases and prevent abuse

We do not use this data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Third parties

These processors handle data only as needed for a feature you use:

• xAI (Grok) — image analysis and roast/lyric writing
• Kie.ai / Suno — music generation from those lyrics
• Atlas Cloud — reference-to-video clips that preserve likeness from your photo
• OpenAI Whisper — optional captions from the sung audio
• RevenueCat and Apple — in-app purchases
• Vibecode hosting for the production backend

Permissions

• Camera — optional, so you can snap a photo to roast
• Photo library — so you can choose existing photos

There is no microphone recording, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Storage, security, retention

Data in transit uses TLS. Account records are scoped to your sign-in. Generated jobs stay until you delete them or delete your account. Uploaded images are used to fulfill the roast you started. Uninstalling the app removes local data on the device. Email support@smbdm.com to request account deletion; we aim to reply within 30 days.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data. Email support@smbdm.com.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). An Adult tone can generate crude comedy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not upload images of minors without parental consent.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
